Mr. Matich has been in the mining industry over a 25-year period, has acted as CEO for listed Companies on the Australian, Toronto and London Stock Exchanges. He is currently a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) & the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). Past successes include: as CEO of ASX-listed Aztec Resources Ltd (ASX: AZR) where he identified the potential and oversaw the development of the Koolan DSO hematite deposit, AZR rose from a A$1 million market capitalization to a A$300 million merger with ASX listed Mount Gibson Iron Ltd (ASX: MGX); as CEO of ASX-listed Fox Resources Ltd (ASX: FXR) he identified the potential and reactivated the Karratha nickel-copper mining operation within two short years; as CEO of TSXV-listed Cap-Ex Ventures Ltd he developed an un-drilled magnetite prospect into 8 Billion ton Compliant Resource and received Top 50 TSXV member in 2012.
Mr. John graduated from the University of Victoria, B.C. with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Economics and Political Science. He acquired the Work Wear World franchise in the interior of British Columbia and sold his chain of stores to Mark's Work Warehouse in 1999, a publicly traded company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. In 2001 Paul was appointed General Manager, Franchises for Work World, a position he held until 2010.
Alex HelmelB.SC, CISA
Mr. Helmel is an Independent Management Consultant with specific expertise working with early stage venture companies within the Canadian Capital Markets. Mr. Helmel focuses on private to public market transitions, corporate governance, the development of senior management teams and corporate growth strategies. Mr. Helmel has served as a director or officer for numerous private, CSE and TSX-V listed corporations.
VP of Exploration
Mr. Counts has over thirty-years of experience in international mineral exploration, project development and deposit evaluation. Over the past twenty-years he has been a founder and director of several publicly listed companies as well as holding executive positions at the corporate and operational level. Mr. Counts has been responsible for the exploration and development of numerous projects across a range of commodities that include copper, gold and diamonds. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological Engineering from the University of British Columbia and is a registered Professional Geoscientist.
Mr. Lutynski, M.Sc. P.Eng is a senior geologist with over 35 years of international mineral exploration experience in project management, evaluation, acquisition, design and implementation of exploration programs in countries around the world. He has extensive experience in Latin America and Europe, managing, consulting and advising companies such as, Lumina Gold Corp. (Ecuador). His expertise in sediment-hosted copper-silver mineralization came mainly from his work related to the most well-known deposit of this type, Kupferschiefer in Poland.
Mr. Lutynski is fluent in English, Spanish and Polish, holds a Master of Science in Mining and Exploration Geology, is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of British Columbia.
Dr. Chris Grainger
Colombian Geology Expert
Based in Medellin, Colombia, Dr. Chris Grainger boasts an impressive career spanning over 25 years, marked by his extensive geological expertise in South America, particularly Colombia. His focus encompasses both grassroots and brownfields exploration, as well as resource definition and development across a diverse range of commodities and geological settings.
Before his tenure at Cordoba Minerals in 2012, Dr. Grainger held pivotal roles that underscore his proficiency:
- Continental Gold: He served as the Vice President of Exploration (Regional Projects), contributing significantly to the strategic advancement of the company's exploration endeavors.
- Colossus Minerals Inc.: As the Chief Geologist, Dr. Grainger played a crucial role in shaping the geological direction of the organization.
In addition to these roles, Dr. Grainger's senior-level positions at Troy Resources, Lion Ore Australia, INCO Brazil, and CVRD Brazil have fortified his wealth of experience.
Dr. Grainger's educational background is equally impressive:
- University of Western Australia: He earned a Bachelor of Science degree with first-class honors, followed by a PhD in Economic Geology.

Prior to establishing his own family office, Blue Sail Capital, Mr. Kassim-Lakha held the esteemed position of Portfolio Manager at US Global Investors in Texas. With a history of leadership, Mr. Kassim-Lakha has held pivotal roles with renowned institutions including Boston based PE Firm: Fidelity Capital, and Toronto based banks and boutiques. His strategic acumen and ability to navigate complex financial landscapes have consistently positioned him at the forefront of the industry.
Mr. Kassim-Lakha's expertise is of significant value to the organization as he assumes the role of Strategic Advisor to the CEO and the Board of Directors. His insights will undoubtedly play an instrumental role in shaping strategic decisions and driving the organization's growth trajectory.
Mr. Henneberry is a Professional Geoscientist registered in British Columbia with over 42 years of experience in domestic and international exploration and production for base and precious metals and industrial minerals. He serves or has served as a founder, director, senior officer, and/or consultant to various CSE and TSXV listed companies since 2004. He currently holds Board positions with Golden Independence Mining Corp., Hilo Mining Ltd., iMetal Resources Inc., J4 Ventures Inc., Silver Sands Resources Corp., Tana Resources Corp.and Treviso Capital Corp. He also sits on the Advisory Boards of Atomic Minerals Corporation, Max Resource Corp. and Universal Copper Ltd.
Mr. Trivino, a Colombian national located in Toronto, is the President of the Canadian Colombian Chamber of Investment of Trade. He is fluent in 3 languages and has 21 years of professional experience with international firms, including; BP Amoco PLC, ABN AMRO Bank and most recently, Price Waterhouse Coopers Canada where he advised clients in Canada, United States, Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Brazil and Colombia. His experience encompasses mining, energy, infrastructure, technology, financial services, telecom and entertainment.
